Climate
The classic dry and wet seasons have merged progressively over the last years, Mustique now has good weather almost all year round. People from the Caribbean call rain “liquid sun” - it keeps the island green, it does not cool the air temperature as much as in Europe and it usually lasts approximately 10 minutes. Officially, the dry season lasts from December to April, the intermediate season goes from May to August while the rain season, which also has a lot of friendly weather, lasts from September to November. Temperatures are mostly between 25°C and 35°C while relative air humidity is high. Mustique is part of the Windward Islands, i.e. any hurricanes usually pass north of the island.
